The Peruvian Mountains

A client reached out to me because she wanted to make this beautiful quilt for her son's 27th birthday. Her family is originally from Peru and her son has been mentioning how he has been getting homesick. She knows he cannot go to Peru any time soon so she decided to bring a piece of Peru to her son!

He absolutely loved it when it was ready to go! She told me that she couldn't thank me enough and seeing the tears and smile on her son's face was worth all the time and effort we put into it.

The quilt pattern's name is Mountainside, by Lella Boutique and the pantograph pattern she chose was Baptist Fan on a big scale, quilted with Quilter's Dream 80/20.
